Contactless
Pay for those small, everyday items up to £45 just by tapping your card on the terminal in shops, restaurants, cinemas and almost everywhere else. Paying with contactless is an easier and faster way to pay.
Keeping your payments safe
To check it’s really you when using contactless, you’ll occasionally be asked to input your PIN when you present your card - it’s just another way to keep you safe and protect your payments.
Simply put your card into the reader and enter your PIN as normal. #ItsReallyMe
Apple Pay
Enjoy all the benefits of your debit card with Apple Pay on selected iPhones, Apple Watches, iPads, and Macs. You can use Apple Pay to make purchases above the £45 contactless limit in lots of different locations (merchant limit may apply).
Paying in stores, apps and on the web has never been easier, safer, or more private. Your card information is secure because it isn’t stored on your device or shared when you pay. Apple Pay doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you, ensuring all purchases are private.
Getting around London with Apple Pay is now easier and faster
Travel across the Transport for London network is now even faster and easier. With the new Express mode feature on Apple Pay, you no longer need to authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID. Just tap your iPhone or Apple Watch on the yellow reader and go.
Google Pay
With Google Pay™ you can use your phone to pay for anything from a coffee on the go to a new TV on selected Android devices. Google Pay doesn’t share your card number, so your information is safer and more secure.
Google Pay is a fast, simpler and more secure way to pay with your Visa debit card in stores, in apps and on sites. There is also no £30 price limit when you use it in stores (merchant limit may apply). You can pay with Google Pay where ever you see the contactless logo.

Using your card abroad
Just take your card or mobile device with you and you can use the different ways to pay to buy a drink on the beach, a meal in the mountains or a hotel by a lake – easy, safe and quick payment methods with no need to carry cash - letting you get on with enjoying your trip.
Chip & PIN
Use your card to pay for anything in store using your pin code. It's safe and secure. Just carry your card, there's no need to carry cash.
